Roadie Life From a Roadies wife’s view: Kami Wolk


I was on another “Chiefbear On the Road” mission, this time going to Cleveland, Ohio where I was to catch up with The Cult’s crew. My initial mission was to take T-Bone a birthday cake and make another roadie on the crew Roadie of the Month. I had no idea that Brian “Wookie” Wolk’s wife, Kami, would be there! I have never had the opportunity to talk to a roadie’s wife before. After introductions, I asked if she would mind an interview based on what it’s like to be married to a roadie. She was game, so we sat down on the loading dock at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio. I would like to share with you her thoughts.

OSHA probing worker's fatal fall

Investigators from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration were at Southaven's Snowden Grove Park Friday probing a fatal fall Thursday evening involving a worker at the city's Springfest celebration.

Authorities said Charles Christophie Houston, 30, of Memphis, was working on the beams above the amphitheater when he slipped and fell to the stage, about 40 feet below.
