I had the honor of interviewing Ben Dorcy earlier this year on Brooks and Dunn's crew bus. Ben will be attending both Roadie Paloozas this year as the Roadie.net guest of Honor.

I'm saddened to say Darren Mitchell passed away on Thursday afternoon after a long bout with cancer.
Darren was a guitarist ,and a long-time rigger and guitar technician for many artists ,including gigs for Keith Richards and the X-pensive Winos.
He leaves behind his lovely wife Chere Mitchell.

Dave Thisius passed away last nite, 6/22/09, he suffered a heart attack while out hiking. For those of us who knew Dave he will be greatly missed. With a heart as big as the whole outdoors he was undeniably loved by many. I don't know any further information at this time but when I find out more or if anyone hears anything please let's keep each other informed. I'LL MISS YOU MY BROTHER!
