 The BIG Story

(AP) - September 4, 2008 -- Jewel's crew bus was involved in an accident, but everyone seems to be OK.

Jewel has two tour buses and she was on the other one at the time.

She writes on her web site that the driver has had the flu the past couple of days and he appears to have passed out at the wheel. Jewel says the bus was pulling a trailer as it traveled from Virginia Beach to Nashville and had skidded into the median, leaving a 50-foot trench in the earth.

The trailer was torn off its axles, but neither the trailer nor the bus tipped. The driver was found unconscious at the wheel and was taken to a hospital.

Jewel says she didn't even know about it until she woke up the next day, and she's grateful no one is hurt.

 The BIG Story

8.8.08

On the way to Hershey Park, PA; one of Poison's crew busses experienced a blowout of the right front tire. Due to the excellent driving of Mike "General" Lee, the bus was saved as was the crew... he stopped the bus one foot short of a bridge. Everyone is safe although some are still having a hard time sleeping after the accident. This bus carries Roadie.net friends FiFi, Poppa Smurf, Hammer, and others.
